Things aren’t good– the oligarchs ransack the state, AI stays hot on the heels of artists and writers with endless claims to eliminate the role of human creativity in society.
After surviving a pandemic and creeping societal collapse, we see a renewed interest in heavy music. It’s music perfectly suited to expressing all the rage, sorrow, horror, and aggression that an unstable world brings out. The live music experience was taken away for over a year, and it made us realize how crucial it is.
Let’s start a magazine– no sweat right? Everything starts somewhere. The goal is to build a network of visual artists, designers within the overlapping scenes of metal, hardcore, punk, noise, and other genres within the realm of extreme music. Heavy art for heavy times.
